Farchant - country life, pure nature and mountains

In and around Farchant there are many hiking trails for pleasure hikers (Philosophenweg, Reschbergwiesen, Pflegersee...) families with big and small children (Kuhaway waterfall, forest nature trail, Werdenfels castle ruins...) hut hikers (Esterbergalm, Enning-Alm,...) mountaineers (Schafkopf, Hoher Fricken, Wank...)

The area around Farchant is also ideal for cycling. And for everyone - whether leisurely along the Loisach or a bit more sporty with the mountain bike in the mountains.

There are a number of lakes here in the Zugspitzland - crystal-clear mountain lakes, bathing lakes... Farchant even has a small snow-covered ski slope. Great for beginners and children. Everyone else can reach the ski area in Garmisch by car in a few minutes or - if you want to go even higher, you can take the Eibsee cable car or the cog railway to the Zugspitze

On more than 100 km of groomed trails, the Zugspitzland can be discovered and enjoyed both on skating skis and on classic cross-country skis.
